Tonight, we had our very own Interact Club join us at the meeting. Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary Clubs, such as ours, sponsor, mentor, and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.
Our club sponsors the Interact Club at Santa Susana High School. We are very proud of these brilliant, young people who are already thinking of how they can help their community and others worldwide. They are going to make great leaders one day.
