October 1st we had the pleasure of Simi Valley Police Department Chief Steve Shorts walking our club through the history and need of School Resource Officers in our high school campuses. It was an interesting dive into why they were brought into our schools, the positive impact they have had on our students, and the benefits from this investment in placing these officers on campuses in our city.
