Classic bikes and cool riders made such a great day.
Seems like yesterday but it has been just a little bit longer. We had another great event. The Hopetown Reunion co-hosted by our club and Mayor Keith Mashburn. While it is great to have any event that gives back to the community it was especially awesome to have ours at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch here in Simi Valley. Historic motorcycles and their riders all coming together to talk, hangout and even teach the younger generation how Simi Valley was the birthplace of American motocross. This event had additional meaning as we calibrated the life of Preston Petty. Preston was an innovator in the biking world and was the originator of the plastic pieces that you can still see on motorcycles today. Special thanks to Simi Cycles and 99.1 the Ranch for being a part of the day.
