Our speaker tonight was Elena Brokaw, Exexutive Director at the Museum of Ventura County. The Museum, through its collections, exhibits, educational programs and publications, celebrates the history, art, and culture of Ventura County and the Channel Islands. Elena came to speak about how the museum almost closed its doors for good and how they've overcome many obstacles to remain open.
