The Rotary Club of Simi Sunset would like to thank the community for coming out and participating in our remembrance of the victims of 9/11. With your help the event was a touching reminder of the tragic events of that day 20 years ago. We will never forget the innocent lives lost that day, the heroes who ran in when others were running out of the buildings, the absolute heroes on United flight 93, and the first responders who are still dealing with the effects of putting other lives before there own.

We thank Keith Mashburn Simi Valley Mayor for MC'ing the ceremony along with our Rotary President Stephanie M. Sieminski.

We would also like to thank the Simi Valley Fire Department, The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District for providing us the location and cleanup services, the Channel Islands 4X4 Club, and everyone who donated to America's 9/11 Foundation through buying banners or donating at the event (https://www.americas911foundation.org/mission-statement.htm)

We will never forget.
