I believe my devotion to this City is evident.  The residents of Simi Valley deserve a Mayor they can trust and one that listens.  As your Mayor I will listen and serve with integrity.

My wife, Shelby and I, have raised two daughters here in Simi Valley.  We now have two grandsons attending Simi Valley School District schools.

I served this community as a member of the Ventura County Fire Department for 31 years, retiring in 2005 as the Chief Arson Investigator.

After retirement I served as a Ventura County Supervisors aid, a Simi Valley Planning Commissioner and for the past 6 years have served on the Simi Valley City Council.

Shelby and I have entrepreneurial spirit and have owned and operated three successful local retail businesses, Awards Specialties, Java Island and Mashburn Kawasaki.
