Acting City Manager - Simi Valley

Brian Gabler began working with the City of Simi Valley in June 1986. Through his employment with the City, Mr. Gabler has been involved in multiple aspects of City operations including the City’s Community Development Block Grant Program, the City Clerk’s Office, management and operation of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, and coordination of the City’s municipal bonds. Beginning in 1987, Mr. Gabler was responsible for Simi Valley’s redevelopment activities through the Simi Valley Community Development Agency until February 2012 when the State of California dissolved all redevelopment agencies.

Among the honors received, the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce named Mr. Gabler as the Business Person of the Year for 2001. Mr. Gabler was named one of the Deal Makers of the Year for 2005 by the Pacific Coast Business Times and was honored in the Who’s Who in Business Leadership for 2007, 2008, and 2009 by the Pacific Coast Business Times.
