Team Red, White and Blue
Jul. 23, 2019 7:00 p.m.
Team Red, White and Blue is a national non-profit organization with a mission to enrich the lives of America's Veterans by connecting them to their community through social and physical activities. Nationally, there are 200 local chapters of Team RWB with over 190,000 registered "eagles." Team RWB Ventura County was established in 2014, and has over 350 members currently. Our goal is to provide low- or no-cost programming to Veterans and team members through forming partnerships with community leaders and supporters. Team RWB is open to military veterans, active duty military, and civilians alike, all with a mindset to build community and support.
Fernan Diamse is a U.S. Navy Veteran of 14 years. He served as a hospital corpsman with the fleet marine force in various parts of the United States and in South East Asia. He first learned about Team RWB in Spring of 2016 and found an organization that allowed veterans to find a sense of purpose and camaraderie after their military service. He found motivation and inspiration from fellow veterans in the community through social and physical activities. His passion and connection to the organization led him to join the leadership team of the Ventura County chapter the following year as the Social Director, and he currently serves as the Veteran Engagement Director
